We offer classes that cater to ages 1 1/2 to ages 16. We have a wide range of ability levels available for all ages.
As we state in our policies and procedures, we do not guarantee makeup classes. We will do our best to accomodate everyone and try and find a suitable class to do a makeup. We limit this to one makeup. If there are extenuating circumstances, we will do our best to work with our families on an individual basis to try and find a solution.

If not, a shirt and shorts, capris, or tight fitting pants are appropriate. Clothing with buttons, zippers, or snaps are prohibited. Our gymnasts will not wear socks during class. This can cause injury on the equipment and they could slip.
No jewelry is allowed other than one set of stud earrings. Jewelry can get caught on clothing, equipment, coaches and other students and can cause injury.
We discourage our students from bringing anything of value to the gym. We supply cubbies for the gymnasts to place their shoes, jackets, etc. into. Since there are many people in the gym at any one time, we do not want any loss or theft of your personal belongings.
Every child is different and progresses at various times. Since there are only 5 levels before your child is eligible for the team program, please expect your child to be in each program for an average of 4-6 sessions.
As with any sport, the amount of time spent in the sport correlates to an increase in time and expense. Ultimately, your child will be invited to the team program after they have attained the appropriate skills, respect for team, and the ability to commit to the time and monetary expenses. We offer two different team programs in CGI. One team program begins with a minimum of 4 hours a week of workout while the other team program begins with a minimum of 9 hours per week. As they increase their levels, the time commitment increases.
There is no magic age as to what is best. Each child is unique and their work ethic and commitment will help determine how far they will go! The staff at CGI is here to encourage success and help your child acheive their goals, no matter what they may be.
Yes, you can always take a session or two off, however, we cannot hold your spot. We are happy to try and get you back into the same class you were in, but we do not offer a guarantee. Also, gymnastics is a sport that is year-round. When your child is out of it for any length of time, they can lose skills and stregnth. We encourage our students to stay in the program year- round so they can progress and move up at a more continuous pace.
